Preparing for 2026: The Year of the Fire Horse
Every twelve years, a new energy enters our lives through the Chinese zodiac, but 2026 is no ordinary year. It carries something rare, something ancient, something fiery. It is the “Year of the Fire Horse,” a bold, fast-moving, deeply transformative energy that only visits once every 60 years… and you and I will experience it in our lifetime, whether you believe it or not.
I want you to imagine this energy as a powerful horse galloping fast, with great intention and determination, and a warm breath. The Fire Horse energy magnifies everything it touches: your clarity or your confusion, your purpose or your procrastination, your inner order, or your inner chaos.
Some people may think that I am overreacting because I keep saying:
The 2026 Fire Horse energy doesn’t create problems; we do. We create all sorts of events. The Fire Horse energy exposes what needs attention and expands what is aligned.
Why? Because the Fire Horse responds beautifully to people who are grounded, organized, and intentional. And it overwhelms those who aren’t.
The last Fire Horse year was 1966. In many parts of Asia, some mothers were so fearful of the intense Fire Horse energy that they considered ending their pregnancies, believing the child might bring chaos or misfortune. Ironically, Fire Horse children are often blessed with strength, brilliance, and a powerful destiny, the very qualities that can elevate an entire family line.
But don’t panic, I’ve got you. You have time to prepare for it.
First, the year of the Fire Horse doesn’t start on January 1st, 2026. It starts on February 17th, on the Lunar New Year. And if you are reading this blog after February 17, you still can address and honor this energy in your life.

Start Where All Transformation Begins: the Center of Your Home, your Health
This is your anchor, your foundation, and life force.
If your health is low, your sleep is disrupted, or your energy is scattered in 2025, and you didn’t do anything about it, this is the energy you will bring into 2026, and it will feel more like exhaustion than expansion.
Similarly, if you ignored your career, finances, or relationships in 2025, 2026 will be more challenging in these areas than anyone would like.
You may have gone to work on a job you disliked, didn’t complain about the pain that shows up every week, kept quiet in your relationship that didn’t fulfill you, or paid the bills, but late. 2026 will call you to face things and do something about them.
It could be that you were planning to find another job, go to a doctor, end the relationship, or make more money in 2026, but the biggest problem is that the Fire Horse energy will force you to make amends with your life, which are unlikely to be gentle. It may feel like you are being pushed off the cliff.
The Fire Horse energy is not a terrible thing; it’s the energy that will support you for the next 12 years in ways that may seem harsh, but it is the right medicine you need. Trust me.
