I have an oyster to offer you; plain on the outside, luminous within. Whether or not you have children, pets, or a “baby” project, life will eventually invite you to open it and find the pearl: "You are becoming your own mother." Not becoming like the mother who raised you, but becoming the person who will nurture you like a mother is called to do. Off course you can refuse it, but I don't advise.
Mother’s Day is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a moment to honor the women whose love shaped our world. Some gave us life, others gave us courage. Some raised us, others rescued us. Whether by birth, by choice, or by spirit, these women are the quiet architects of our lives.
Is being a mother a thankless task? True or not? Our purpose is to protect our children and nurture them in every way. I tried but got it wrong. Tough one. Sad one.
